"The 2002 Ronald McDonald Charity Speedster"

     This custom Slammed-Speedster features a airbrush-pinstripe tribal flame design and has been slammed to the ground with different a different set of lower profile tires.  It also features a "one-off" prototype resin figure of Larry Woods that was never used by Mattel.  Originally designed with "Elwood" in a Santa outfit for the production Christmas Speedster, the figure itself was cancelled and a "traditional" Santa was put in its place for the production piece.  (This Flamed Speedster raised over $3500 for the Ronald McDonald's Children Charity Auction at the '02 HW Convention in Irvine).  Other credit goes to Sue Kollins, who did an amazing job on the realism of the hand-painted details of the resin L.Wood figure along with Bodylines Co. for completing this one of a kind work of art!
